    What Is This Tool?

The Currency Converter translates an amount from one currency to another using the latest available reference exchange rates, including Bangladeshi taka, US dollars and euros.

What Can You Do With It?

Compare overseas prices in your own currency. Estimate a freelance invoice in a client’s currency. Plan travel spending or international purchases.

    How to Use This Tool

Step 1: Enter an amount and choose the From and To currencies. Step 2: Read the converted amount beside the inputs. Step 3: Swap the currencies to check the reverse conversion. Step 4: Check the displayed rate date or refresh the rates.

    How Does It Work?

The page fetches a USD-based exchange-rate table from ExchangeRate-API. It calculates amount × destination rate ÷ source rate, so cross-currency conversions use the same dated rate table.

    Key Benefits

Supports worldwide currencies including USD, BDT and EUR. Results update as you change the amount or currencies. Previously fetched rates can appear immediately on your next visit.

    Limitations and Important Notes

Reference rates update daily, not every second. Bank spreads, transfer charges and card fees are not included. An internet connection is needed to refresh; older saved rates are explicitly labelled.

    Privacy and Security

The amount you enter is calculated in your browser and is not sent to the rate provider. Your browser contacts ExchangeRate-API to fetch public rates; the provider receives normal connection information such as your IP address. Only the public rate table is cached on your device.

    Real-World Example

For illustration only: if 1 USD equals 120 BDT and 0.90 EUR, then 10 USD converts to 1,200 BDT, and 1,200 BDT converts to 9 EUR. Your actual result uses the rate date shown on the page.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Are currency quotes updated every second?

No. This tool retrieves the provider’s latest available daily reference rates and shows their update date.

Why is my bank’s conversion different?

Banks and payment services can use different rate times, exchange spreads and additional fees.

Can I convert Bangladeshi taka to euros directly?

Yes. Select BDT as From and EUR as To; the converter calculates the cross rate from the same reference table.
